**When I was in about 9th grade, I had a teacher that mentioned how there are certain products that we've grown to call by their brand name instead of what they are. We don't say......'hand me a facial tissue'......we say......'hand me a Kleenex'. I was fascinated by this as a kid, and thought I'd list a few of these everyday things that we've grown to call by their brand name
ITEMS WE CALL BY BRAND NAMES:

3. Google ( we'll Google something instead of 'search' etc)
4. Brillo Pad or SOS Pad ( as opposed to scouring pad)

9. Bubble wrap (It's actually a trademarked brand name

11. Ping Pong ( trademarked brand name for table tennis equipment)
12. Coke13. Jet Ski (trademark brand for personal water craft)

16. Lazy Boy ( for recliner)

18. Kool-Aid
19. Jacuzzi (brand name for Hot Tub)
